The title really says enough, but I'll say more anyway. The longest I've gone without playing since I started playing was the three-ish weeks I was here, in Mississippi, without the guitar. I wasn't able to bring it out because I could only bring so much luggage on the initial flight out. We were reunited when my road-warrior father drove 1900 miles in about 40 hours to bring my car and the rest of my stuff out here. It was just in time.
The worst times are when you realize what things you need. I am not a creative person, but this guitar is one of my few effective (and healthy) emotional outlets. I wish my writing and playing abilities weren't so far behind my need and desire to express things, but I get by. When the door is closed and no one's around I can really just play. It gets me through.
